2,300+ Original Digital SAT Practice Questions: Inside the Premier SAT QBank

The Premier SAT QBank holds 2,300+ original digital SAT questions: 1,900 drills across all eight domains plus three adaptive full-length tests, with every answer choice explained. Free during early access.

The Premier SAT QBank now holds 2,300+ original digital SAT practice questions, and all of it is free while the platform is in early access. That total covers a 1,900-question drill bank spanning all eight domains of the digital SAT, plus three full-length adaptive practice tests that route between modules the way the real exam does. Every multiple-choice answer carries its own written explanation.

This post is a tour of what’s inside: the exact domain coverage, how the adaptive tests work, and what the explanations look like when you get one wrong.

Why original questions, not a bigger pile

There are plenty of free SAT question banks, and most of them share a secret: they’re all the same questions. The released official pool circulates through every free site, which means the second time you meet a question, you’re testing your memory, not your skill, and your accuracy numbers quietly inflate.

We took the slower route: every question in this bank is an original item written to the current digital format. That buys you two things. Practice stays honest, because you’ve never seen the question before. And your official practice tests stay clean, because you’re not burning College Board material on drills, so a full-length rehearsal the week before test day still means something.

What’s in the bank

SectionQuestionsCoverage
Reading & Writing drills1,131Information and Ideas (398), Craft and Structure (303), Expression of Ideas (211), Standard English Conventions (219)
Math drills769Algebra (279), Advanced Math (202), Problem-Solving and Data Analysis (152), Geometry and Trigonometry (136)
Full-length practice tests3 testsModule-adaptive, both second-module routes built, real timing with the 10-minute break

That’s 2,341 authored questions in all, spread across easy, medium, and hard difficulty within every domain. The math bank includes 180 student-produced response questions, so you also practice typing your own answers, the format that costs unprepared students the most points. Every math answer key is checked computationally, and every batch passes a solve-check audit before it reaches the bank.

Practice in the interface you’ll actually test in

The digital SAT doesn’t happen on paper, and it doesn’t happen in a generic quiz app. It happens in a two-pane testing application with its own tools and its own rhythm. Our runner rebuilds that environment faithfully: annotation and answer elimination, flagging and the question navigator, per-question timing, and the section clock you can hide, exactly like test day.

The digital SAT practice interface: a Reading and Writing question with a passage, four lettered answer choices with one selected and one eliminated with strikethrough, a section timer, and a question navigator

The drill builder points all of that at exactly one skill. Weak on Standard English Conventions? Build a timed set of nothing but that domain at the difficulty you choose. Drills draw only from questions you haven’t seen, and accuracy and pacing accumulate per domain, so you always know where your next points are. For a breakdown of how the two sections differ and where students typically leak points, see Math vs. Reading and Writing on the digital SAT.

Explanations that name the mistake

Getting a question wrong is only useful if you find out exactly why. Every multiple-choice answer in the bank carries its own explanation: the credited choice explains the reasoning, and each wrong choice names the specific mistake that produces it, the swapped detail, the tempting overreach, the rule misapplied.

The solution view after revealing an answer: the credited choice marked correct with its explanation, each wrong choice explained with the exact error named, and a question details panel showing time spent, difficulty, domain, and skill

Math explanations follow a stricter rule still: one operation per step, every rule stated in plain words before it’s used, and no “clearly” or “simply” anywhere. They’re written so the student who just missed the question can follow every move without asking a second “why?”. Reading and Writing explanations define any hard vocabulary on the spot, including all four choices on Words in Context questions.

Three adaptive tests, the real sitting

When you’re ready to put sections together, the bank includes three full-length practice tests that behave like the real thing: two modules per section, with your second module routed by your first-module performance, the real module timing, and the 10-minute break. Both second-module routes are fully built for every test, so an easier or harder module 2 is genuine adaptive routing, not a reshuffle of the same questions.

Full-length rehearsal is also where pacing gets honest. The current digital SAT gives you roughly 71 seconds per Reading and Writing question and 95 per Math question, and the practice tests hold you to it. Sit one early to place yourself against what counts as a good SAT score, then let the drill analytics direct the weeks between.

Frequently asked questions

How many questions are in the Premier SAT QBank?

2,300+ original questions: a 1,900-question drill bank (1,131 Reading and Writing, 769 Math) plus three full-length adaptive practice tests with both second-module routes built. Every multiple-choice answer carries its own written explanation.

Is the Premier SAT QBank really free?

Yes. The whole platform is free while it's in early access: the complete drill bank, all three adaptive tests, the drill builder, and the analytics. Joining the early-access group locks in your access from day one.

Are these official College Board questions?

No. Every question is an original item written to the current digital SAT format. Most free banks share the same pool of released official questions, so once you've worked through them anywhere, they're spoiled everywhere. Ours is fresh material, which also keeps the official practice tests clean for full-length rehearsal.

Are the practice tests adaptive like the real digital SAT?

Yes. Each test runs two modules per section, and the second module routes on your first-module performance the way the real exam does. Both second-module routes are fully built, and the timing matches the real test, including the 10-minute break.

Can I drill one SAT domain at a time?

Yes. The drill builder targets any of the eight digital SAT domains, timed or self-paced, at easy, medium, or hard difficulty, and always draws from questions you haven't seen.

Do the math questions include student-produced responses?

Yes. The math bank includes 180 student-produced response questions alongside the multiple-choice pool, and every math solution walks step by step, one operation at a time.
